Guys, I have a theory that probably makes sense so basically, the wound the guy has is just a representation of his internal pain, in the start we see him running, and it's like he's running away from his problems instead of solving them, he struggles in life and tries to hide it from the people around him, and specifically as we can see in the mv, from his significant other, we see that hiding his pain from her makes him feel even worse and he feels like he can't make it anymore But then the girl notices that he's internally suffering and her knowing is making him feel a bit better as she's trying to give him strength, we can even see that a band-aid appears on his wound which represents one of the first steps of the recovery, we see that he slowly gets better and at the end he's completely healed the mv is like a huge metaphor, it shows that talking about your problems to the ones you trust and love can save you edit : thanks for 2k 🥺🙌🏻i'm really glad my theory got recognized, it took me my last 2 braincells to find it so i'm happy y'all like it 😩🖐🏻

My theory: DAY6 are basically saying thanks for staying by us. As you know, DAY6 went on a hiatus last year to prioritise the members’ mental health. Zombie was a song that talked about feeling worthless and lifeless like a Zombie. Then with Even of Day, Where the sea sleeps shows KangWonDo on a journey to where the sea sleeps, trying to find their way back to Park Bros. If you see the concept films, KangWonDo are facing right while Park Bros are facing left. At the start of the MV they’re all together, watching the couple being happy together. This represents My Day and DAY6 (altogether reunited). The lyrics at the start talk about having just enough strength as if teetering off the edge, this is when the injured guy comes walking in. “Without you I wouldn’t be here (the guy waves to the girl - DAY6 and My Day) look at me I’m holding on” (the guy hugs the girl without making her worry) “One step at a time” Sungjin sings, and then the couple are in the car. Then after this Wonpil sings “don’t let go because you are my last ray of hope” (the guy is worrying that the girl will leave him because of his weakness). He starts to give in and shows his weakness to her. But the girl doesn’t care about that, her frantically trying to wake him up shows that she cares about him no matter what. When he passes out he sees where the sea sleeps (hope) and then her face and he smiles. He knows that she’ll accept him. We represent the girl and the guy represents DAY6. We’ll be there for each other. We’re each other’s strengths, and hope. ‘Every ending is a beginning’ we just have to trust in DAY6, and they will trust us too. The end of a beautiful era.
