FR. The only problem with Yu's voice that JYP pointed out during the auditions and today is his high pitch. His low and mid tones were complimented by JYP. I hope he receives training for that.

@@24hrsmeow so far I’m loving that the JYPe team are mostly looking at improvements in the evaluation which is why the non-JYP dancers got top spots because they had the innate skill of expressing emotions thru their dance. Imagine how that will improve more if they get proper training. And I have a feeling that Yu will receive add on gem during vocal ranking like he din during the dance eval.

@@bayper5663 no, i meant he will pull off what Mayuka did in last ep where everyone fought for a chance to go to Korea. Mayuka didnt have any cube but she got it all in the end & went to Korea. But i agreed with everything you said about Yu & Ayaka. they have basic skills. they just need more training. & Yu seems like he has good personality which JYP likes the most. & he has best visual out of all contestants too. so i hope he will work hard & debut.

For real he did really well 💕 i wasnt expecting it tbh he is more of a dancer but he surprisingly has really good rhythm and was totally on beat . He has quite a bit to improve vocal wise but definitely has great potential like JYP said. This is not in anyway an easy song but he did justice to the song.

I think he will get it after the discussion phase. JYP won't give it easily to him because there are still a lot of mistakes on his vocal evaluation. It's a better decision to make him realize his problems n improve in the future

@@9luii Both are great. No doubt. But in his audition he looks like he just having fun, doesn't look like he doing audition. That's why I said he did better in audition than his evaluation. But that's a normal thing. Bcoz being trainee must be have more pressure than not a trainee. And I think the reason why JYP put him on that rank is so that Tomoya can seeing that the top 3 are just having fun on their evaluation and he want Tomoya do the same. It was not bcoz he lack on skill than those 5 person on top 5. Tomoya, in my opinion, have better skill than some of them. But JYP and the judges talking about what they like the most is the atmosphere when the contestant dancing. And it could be that those are their important criteria. Tbh I dissagree with them. But maybe what I see on screen with what they feel in that place is different. It is the same with when we watch concert online, the feel isn't the same with watching it live. That's why I just trying guessing that could be the reason. Bcoz in his evaluation, JYP also mention about his emotion is not as great as his dance. And it could be bcoz of his nervousness.

True, I feel like JYP intentionally ranked the JYP trainees a bit lower than what they actually were in order to avoid the risk of making them complacent and fuel their desperation.

@@kire1493 i don't see any intention there. what if jyp ranked them up high like top of the list? people would've said he does them favor because they're jyp trainees. maybe uniqueness, rawness are weighed more than refinement in the evaluation. if so, the ranking makes a perfect sense.

He did better in his audition than in dance evaluation. And that's why improvement also become another criteria from JYP. Tomoya is my fav too. But I can understand the reason why JYP not gave him the top 3 rank. I still thinking his skill is better, but bcoz JYP have their own perspective on his criteria, I can understand it very well.

His standard is different. He’s harsher on them since they are JYP trainees, and they prefer to put non-trainees on the top for the engagement/to gauge their tenacity and determination. The same thing happened to Gina. They’re probably trying to push a storyline of some sort because that’s how reality shows work.
