It's kinda annoying how everyone is complaining about the video being low-budget. Things don't have to be expensive to be meaningful or happy. I like this video and I'm sure Jimin does too, because it's more genuine and raw. Do you guys notice how the song talk about being beautiful in your own way? That's why I think a natural looking video is the best option.

@@aida6179 this. It appears that in Korea looks are extremely important, more so as an artist. And Jimin, while not overweight - I'd place her at the higher end of a healthy weight - just doesn't fit the typical expectations of such a public person. So people that probably are very frustrated with their own bodies/life anonymously hate on her online. It happens a lot, too thin, too thick, too tall, too short, too big nose, too big eyes, too pretty so obviously can't sing (think Sulli from F(x)) etc. Someone will always find something to hate about someone if they just search enough.

I first discovered Jimin park in superstar jyp,I found this mission song thing as a challenge,I loved her voice,I loved the album art.I started crying when I heard the 'stay beautiful' part. "she sounds underrated" I thought,I'm pretty sure barely anyone knows about her bc nobody I knew has mentioned her.She is so beautiful.And she still continues to *stay beautiful*

@@sircnes But where's da lieee doee👀👀👀 most kidols are really underweight for their height and most average are 5'4-5'10 and most be out here weighing 80-120lbs. I know some of them are naturally skinny BUT it's impossible for 80% of them to be naturally underweight like that. No it's not offensive, cause honestly they're just pointing out how kidols are set with standards to be really skinny, when weight like Jamie is literally healthy and normal, but people make it seem like it's a bizarre thing.

@@sircnes Not when its true. Many idols are seriously underweight and its not their natural weight. And some idols like Ladies Code Sojung and ex-OMG JinE have come out publicly saying the industry gave them eating disorders, so its not really unheard of. Just look at Wendy, whose weight keeps fluctuating dramatically bc of harsh diets. Or Krystal who ended up going back to her natural weight when she stopped being an idol. You really can't be into Kpop and say that they aren't forced on diets to look good for the camera.

I actually think this song is tailored for boys who don’t fall into the “pretty boy” category and are always anxious about who they are, she sings about all the things beneath the surface that are beautiful and important. There are a lot of songs empowering girls to feel beautiful for who they are, but not enough telling boys the same and Im glad Jimin is doing that

I think this song is tailored for boys who don’t fall into the “pretty boy” category and are always anxious about who they are, she sings about all the things beneath the surface that are beautiful and important. There are a lot of songs empowering girls to feel beautiful for who they are, but not enough telling boys the same and Im glad Jimin is doing that

And it's kind of the public's fault for never caring even when she sings with the most amazing powerful voice. Her masked singer performance was good enough to go viral but it barely made a stir.
